When I enable tinyMCE editor, there are no toolbars that appears on the Topic Message part. And when the forum is viewed on IE (both 6 and 7), it causes and error:

Line: 2
Char: 6
Error: 'return' statement outside of function
Code: 0

and

Line: 49
Char: 2
Error: 'tinyMCE' is undefined
Code: 0

This on a fresh install, no other plugins are installed or activated asside from Simple Press.

No errors on other editor. Only with tinyMCE

is your theme running any JS… obviously, SPF generally works with IE 7 and IE 8 (we dont have IE 6 to test with) as many users are using it without issue. we need to figure out what its struggling with in your environment…

anything in your server logs that might give some hints?

No JS on the theme.. this is on a fresh install of wordpress and only simple press was added.. the theme was added only later but the problem exist even before I installed the theme…

What specific logs should I be looking at (sorry, I am noob)..

It is hard to know for sure but I would suspect the first thing to try would be to re-upload at the very least the tinyMCE folder and files. It sounds more like a corruption or missing file to me.
